Logo and brand identity design for RideAway — a modern bike rental platform connecting riders with easy hourly, daily, and weekly two-wheeler rentals.

01
The Challenge
RideAway needed a brand identity that felt modern, trustworthy, and instantly recognizable in a highly competitive mobility market. The challenge was to create a logo system that appealed to both riders looking for convenience and hosts looking to monetize their idle bikes. The identity also needed to work seamlessly across mobile apps, social media, onboarding screens, and outdoor branding while maintaining simplicity and memorability.
02
Research & Discovery
The research phase focused on analyzing existing mobility and rental brands, understanding rider behavior, and identifying visual patterns within the transportation and startup ecosystem. The goal was to avoid generic vehicle symbols and instead create a distinct, energetic identity that represented movement, accessibility, and freedom.

03
Strategic Direction
The strategic direction centered around creating a bold yet minimal identity that communicates speed, flexibility, and reliability. The visual language was designed to feel approachable for everyday users while still carrying the confidence of a scalable tech startup. Rounded typography, dynamic spacing, and a clean icon system helped reinforce the feeling of effortless movement.

Project Overview
RideAway is a coming-soon bike rental app for riders and hosts. Users can rent a two-wheeler by the hour, day, or week, while bike owners can turn idle vehicles into a passive income opportunity. The final identity system combines simplicity with motion-inspired visuals to create a memorable and scalable brand experience across digital and physical touchpoints.
